The Endometriosis and Adenomyosis Association was in Bursa 4th Eker I Road Run on 8 October 2017. In our stand, which stands out with its pink color, brochures telling what endometriosis is, specialist doctors answer the participants' questions; what the symptoms of the disease are, and the information needed for early diagnosis are shared with the participants.
One of the 10 females in the reproductive age suffering from this disease, which manifests itself with symptoms such as painful sexual intercourse and infertility and develops with the proliferation of the tissue lining the uterus in the other parts of the body. In order to increase the awareness of the disease during running, physicians and runners supporting us joined the run by wearing a yellow ribbon, which is the symbol of Endometriosis. The young band that was organized by the association joined the team and added color to their race track with their music. Despite the rainfall as an association of endometriosis and adenomyosis, we thank everybody who has passed the test for about 1800 participants and for the organization which is full of pleasure
